In addition to knowing how to skate, it's equally important to know how to maintain your electric skateboard. I showed you how to replace the electric skateboard T2/T3 Battery Pack in the last blog. Here is a short summary of how to replay electric skateboards T2 motor wheels: 

Step1: Prepare the tools you will need, like a Phillips screwdriver. T wrench and Y wrench. Before you start to replace it, keep in mind that the way you disassemble is the way you install it. So keep an eye on how you disassemble. This will make your installation faster. Let's get started. One hand holds the board, another takes off the grip tape gently.

Step2: Unscrew the bolts of the deck. Remember to keep this small esc well. An integrated electric skateboard can not lack any of them. Riding an incomplete electric skateboard means danger is not far from you. So you'd better get an open place to do the replacement.

Step3: Unconnect the motors' sensorcables and battery cables to the esc. There is a problem involved here. Later, you need to install new motor wheels and connect these sensorcables. If you are a very knowledgeable user of electric skateboards, you know which ports these wires are connected to, and how they work. That part isn't difficult for you. If you are not,  here is a very good way for you. You take a pen and draw the corresponding graphics on the corresponding parts. Then remove the motors' sensorcables and battery cables to the esc. This is very helpful for your later installation and connection.

Step4: Use the T wrench and Y wrench to unscrew the truck bolt and take out the motor wheels.

Step5: Unscrew the bolts and replace a new motor wheel. We mentioned before that the way you disassemble is the way you install.

Step6: Reassemble the truck.

Step7: Connect the motors's sensorcables and battery cables to the esc. Make sure you connect them to the right one and connect them tight. If the connection is relatively loose, it will also affect the use of the motor wheels.

Step8: Checking is a very important step, also in case you have assembled it then found a problem and need to disassemble it again. Test the motor wheels whether they work with the remote. If not, you have to check the previous steps.

Step9: Screw the bolts of the deck to tighten the ESC enclosure.
